Fermented Strawberries

Method
Note: Like most fermented foods these are great for gut health. Perfect with yoghurt, pancakes or just as is!
- Strawberries
- Raw honey (must be raw)
Method
- Wash strawberries and chop into 1 ½ cm pieces.
- Place in a jar and cover with raw honey
- Place a paper towel over the top of the jar and secure with an elastic band
- Put in the pantry for 3 days
- Stir every day
- After 3 days the strawberries should be a little “fizzy” tasting and lovely and sweet.
- Store in the fridge in an airtight container
