Fermented Blueberries

Picture

Ingredients

  1. Blueberries
  2. Raw honey (must be raw)

Method

  1. Wash blueberries and then place in a jar and cover with raw honey
  2. Place a paper towel over the top of the jar and secure with an elastic band
  3. Put in the pantry for 3 days
  4. Stir every day
  5. After 3 days the blueberries should be a little “fizzy” tasting
  6. Store in the fridge in an airtight container

Note: Like most fermented foods these are great for gut health. Perfect with yoghurt, pancakes or just as is!
