Was doing a roast chicken last night so was looking for a roast equivalent for Max. Found a vegan veggie loaf with rave reviews so gave it a whirl. It tasted magic pre-cooking but then wasn't as great once baked. I reckon I could improve it a lot though if I tried it again. What I did nail though was vegetarian "gravy". My parents have gravy at every meal so whilst we were in the UK Max felt like he missed out. One of my mandates was to figure out a non-meat based gravy. It was delicious and improved the loaf 100%!!
