Joe's school decided to hold an "Olympics Day" on Friday with the whole school divided into countries and competing in all sorts of sports. The PTA were asked to provide a BBQ for lunch. It's a good fundraiser and fun for the kids. Now we've moved to the quality sausages (without all the fillers and additives and in natural casings) from the local butcher I am happy!! We have also been providing chopped veggies to add into the bread. However, this time it was suggested we road test batons instead. It turned out to be an inspired idea as it was so quick to prep. The kids could help themselves as they were grabbing their sausages, there was no mess and so many appreciated the additional food!
