I thought I'd upload a snapshot of one of our family dinners. Being a creature of habit I follow a few basic rules.
We always have 5 different veg and almost always a separate protein offering - to appease the carnivore!
This night we had lamb spare ribs (not the best) I won't be buying again unless someone can teach me how to cook them well.
Roast carrots, sweet potato and Brussels Sprouts, cauli cheese and broccoli. Bear in mind though that these were not all cooked on the day. Left-overs are my friend!
Roast chickpeas, kale and creamy polenta. Joe has never been keen on polenta and was trying to get out of eating it. I'd followed some Italian internet guru on how to cook and had done it differently. So he agreed to try ... well,
this time the boys were fighting over it and the whole pot pretty much disappeared before I noticed. Gah.
