Choc Cake for Breakfast!
In theory this is fine, in practice it means Mum has to think about another meal rather than presenting bulk prepared options like home-made muesli.
To be fair Max has offered to help me make things so I am happy to entertain this, at least for a while!
I had some left-over porridge and wasn't sure what to do with it - and then the light bulb went on. Chocolate cake for breakfast.
This is made with porridge, ground sunflower/linseed/pumpkin seeds. Egg, a grated, small sweet potato, butter, baking powder, cacao, cinnamon, nutmeg, ACV and spirulina. The only sweeteners are a few dates and some molasses (which is very nutrient dense).
It is gooey, full of flavour and Max declared it delicious.
I am happy as it's chock-full of all the things I'd love him to have at breakfast :)
